The technical proposal of production-conservation is based on the gradual implementation of different agricultural and livestock productions known as sustainability elements in family farms where each family member, according to their tastes, preferences and abilities, performs different activities in crops, animal husbandry, soil, water and forest conservation practices, in addition, to identify products for their transformation. All this in order to preserve a permanent diversity of products to ensure their food security and self-reliance through the gradual satisfaction of subsistence, protection and participation needs.

Producing ecologically does not only refer to obtaining food without the use of agrochemicals, but also taking into account the entire agroecosystem, its surroundings and human resources, involves involving all levels of production, including the reconstruction of the agroecological system to include areas of diversity of flora and fauna (Altieri, 1993)

The recovery of the systems that promote these principles, the work around the reconversion of different production units according to them, the generalized search for their application, shows the way towards the achievement of sustainability and contributes to build alternatives to work efficiently relationships between production systems and the ecosystems in which they are established.

Research and actions in this direction are becoming increasingly important, especially when addressing issues with the integrated management of water rounds, the conservation of the quality and quantity of water sources, the conservation of biodiversity or for development Finally, all this must lay the groundwork for a territorial order that combines production and conservation and strengthens the viability of sustainable development.

The practical integration between production and conservation of biodiversity, ensures the implementation of agroecological principles for food production more friendly to the natural environment, economically viable and politically agreed with the principles of social organization that builds a life proposal for the peasants and indigenous people of this sector of the country.
